What is this enhancement about?
The enhanced Lead Management allows you to track and contact your leads easily on WhatsApp and email.
You can also view their insights through your Lead Management page on AgentNet, allowing you to understand their needs better before reaching out.
How do I receive leads after this enhancement?
As usual, your potential clients who browse on PropertyGuru can initiate an enquiry via the following options:
- Send Enquiry Form
- View Phone Number (on desktop) or Call (on mobile)
Enquiry via WhatsApp
1. Potential clients who contact you are first directed to send a WhatsApp message to PropertyGuru Marketplace.
2. PropertyGuru automatically pre-qualifies the message sent. If inadequate information, or potential spam, is detected, the potential client will be prompted for more details.
3. Once the interest has been confirmed, the lead will be sent to you via Lead Alerts on WhatsApp. Potential clients will also receive a confirmation message, where they have the option to contact you directly or wait for your response.
NOTE: To ensure we have you all covered, you can also opt in for email alerts on AgentNet.
CORPORATE ACCOUNT SUBSCRIBERS: Lead alerts on WhatsApp will be sent to the respective listing owner, and your account’s registered email is automatically opted in to receive the email alerts.
Enquiry via Send Enquiry Form
1. Potential clients who contact you will be shown an enquiry form with pre-filled details.
2. PropertyGuru sends an email alert to notify you of every new lead by default.
3. Clicking on the lead details brings you to Lead Management on AgentNet, where you can check on Lead Insights before reaching out to your potential clients.
Enquiry via View Phone Number (on desktop) or Call (on mobile)
1. Potential clients who contact you will be shown your contact number.
2. To avoid spamming you, PropertyGuru does not send any alerts by default. However, you can choose to opt in for email alerts on AgentNet.
3. Clicking on the lead details brings you to Lead Management on AgentNet, where you can check on Lead Insights before reaching out to your potential clients.
What are Lead Alerts on WhatsApp?
Lead alerts on WhatsApp are notifications sent to you via PropertyGuru AgentNet WhatsApp account every time your potential clients send an enquiry to PropertyGuru Marketplace WhatsApp.
These alerts on WhatsApp allow you to connect with your potential clients or view more details about them on Lead Management – all with one click.
Tapping on WhatsApp lead allows you to open a direct chat with your potential client on WhatsApp.
Tapping on View lead details directs you to view more insights about your potential clients on Lead Management page before reaching out to them.
I am using a WhatsApp Business account to manage and contact my leads. Why does the WhatsApp lead button open my personal WhatsApp account when I try to contact my potential client?
iPhone: Tapping on WhatsApp lead will give you the option of using your personal or business WhatsApp account. Simply select Open in WhatsApp Business.
Android: Tapping on WhatsApp lead can sometimes initiate the conversation through your personal WhatsApp account. To prevent this, follow the steps below:
- Open Settings on your device and select Apps.
- Tap on Choose default apps, follow by Opening links.
- Once there, select WhatsApp, and toggle off to disable Open supported links.
- Repeat step 3 for WhatsApp Business app.
Can I reply to the PropertyGuru AgentNet WhatsApp account?
The PropertyGuru AgentNet WhatsApp is designed to be a one way account so that you can receive and maange lead alerts and is fully automated.
As such, you will not be able to reply to the WhatsApp account at this time.
How do I ensure that I do not miss any WhatsApp updates from PropertyGuru AgentNet?
To ensure you never miss a lead, here are some tips you can try on WhatsApp:
1. You are encouraged to pin this chat, so it stays on top of your WhatsApp list. Visit the official WhatsApp help center to find out how to do so on your device.
2. You can also modify the notification tone for this chat, so you do not miss any new lead alerts. Visit the official WhatsApp help center to find out how to do so on your device.

Will I still receive lead alerts on WhatsApp if I update my contact number?
Rest assured that as long as your contact number is updated via your AgentNet profile, you will continue to receive WhatsApp lead alerts as usual.
Why am I no longer receiving direct WhatsApp messages from potential clients?
With this new and enhanced enquiry journey, potential clients now receive your contact details after initiating an enquiry on WhatsApp – so that they can choose to contact you directly or wait to be contacted.
At the same time, valid phone numbers of your potential clients are captured and passed on to you as soon as they send in a message to the PropertyGuru Marketplace WhatsApp.
This means that now, not only will you receive full contact details from clients who contact you directly, you will also receive contact details from those who have not followed through with a direct message to you – leading to more actionable leads, which you can reach out to effectively.
