To enhance your AgentNet account security, effective immediately today – 14th March 2025, we will be implementing 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) on all AgentNet accounts.
Steps to follow:
- Upon logging in to AgentNet via your username and current password, you will be prompted to enter a 2FA code.
- This code will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number linked to your PropertyGuru account.
- After validating the 2FA code, you will be able to access AgentNet as per normal.
Why is there a sudden 2FA implementation?
In February 2025, cybersecurity experts identified a global security incident where password-stealing malware compromised approximately 284 million email addresses and passwords from personal devices via keylogging techniques.
Hence, as a preventive security measure, we’re implementing 2FA. While PropertyGuru’s systems remain secure, this additional layer of protection will help safeguard your account.
What does this mean for me?
- PropertyGuru agent accounts will now be protected by 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)
- All agent accounts will be logged-out on 14th March, and will require to log in again via 2FA.
- 2FA will be mandatory for all PropertyGuru accounts to enhance your security.
- We highly recommend you change your password immediately and regularly.
