What are Verified Listings?

Verified Listings are property listings verified by PropertyGuru for accurate addresses and genuine intent to sell or rent, making your listings more appealing and reliable to potential clients.

Why should I get my listings verified?

Verified listings enhance credibility and visibility by demonstrating genuine intent to sell or rent and ensuring accurate property addresses. This helps to attract serious inquiries, build client trust, and differentiate you from other agents.

Verified Listings stand out better with the following entitlements:

  1. Priority ranking over Regular listings on the search results
  2. Dedicated search filters
  3. Prominent green Verified Listing label on both search results and listing page

For a limited time only, Verified Listings enjoy 15% off Turbo and Boost, allowing you to invest for greater exposure at a lower cost.

Do I need to pay to get my listing verified?

Applying for Verified Listings is entirely free. PropertyGuru offers verification services at no additional cost to help you build trust and credibility.

How can I submit a Verified Listing application?

You can submit Verified Listing applications for any of your active listings via the following steps:

  1. Visit the Listings page on AgentNet.
  2. Click Get Verified on the listing you wish to apply.
  3. You will be guided through uploading the Signed Advertising Agreement between you and the property owner. You can use the agreement templates provided by your agency or follow the standard template from CEA.
  4. Confirm that your listing details are accurate and complete your submission.

How long does the verification process take?

Once all necessary documents have been submitted, the process should take about 5 working days. You will be notified of the application outcome via email.

Is my data safe with PropertyGuru?

Rest assured that any submitted documents will be used solely for listing verification purposes. To protect your information, we have implemented strict measures to ensure secured access and full traceability of document handling.

Please note that PropertyGuru does not require your clients’ personal or contact information to verify your listing. We recommend redacting any third-party personal data from the documents before uploading.

Are all listings eligible to apply for verification?

Verified Listing application is open to residential and commercial listings for sale and rent where the necessary documents are available.

There are also set requirements that listings must fulfil before a Verified Listings application can be submitted:

  • Use a location from our database
  • Indicate a unit number (This data is safe with us. It is used to validate the submitted document and will not be disclosed to property seekers on the listing page.)
  • Include at least 5 photos and a floor plan
  • Not having a duplicate application for the same address by you

If any requirements still need to be met, you will be guided to edit your listings until it is eligible for verification.

Can I apply for non-exclusive / open listings to be verified?

Non-exclusive / open listings can be Verified Listings if the necessary documents for verification are provided. You can find the non-exclusive Advertising Agreement templates provided by CEA here.

Do Verified Listings have an expiry date?

Yes, a Verified Listing status is valid for 90 days after approval to ensure that the information remains current and reliable. PropertyGuru will notify you before the expiry date so that you can apply for an extension of the verification status.

Can Verified Listings be edited or updated after verification?

Yes, you can update your Verified Listings.

Please note that if the listing information (such as price, size, unit number, and number of rooms) significantly changes, the verification status will be removed, and you will have to submit a new application for review.

Additionally, if the updates prevent your listing from fulfilling the eligibility criteria for Verified Listings, the verified status will also be removed until the following criteria are met again:

  • Use a location from our database
  • Indicate a unit number
  • Include at least 5 photos and a floor plan
  • Not having a duplicate application for the same address by you

Are there penalties for submitting inaccurate information?

We will remove the verified status for listings that contain inaccurate information.
If we are notified of fraudulent activities, we will escalate to agencies and CEA in our effort to keep a transparent and high-quality marketplace.

How can I be eligible to enjoy the 15% off Turbo and Boost?

Once you complete a Verified Listing application, the listing will immediately enjoy a 15% discount for Turbo and Boost.

There is no limit to how many times a listing can enjoy this discount within the 90-day verified period. However, this discount is only available for a limited time, so enrol while stocks last!

If the Verified Listing application status is rejected, removed, or ineligible, the listing will not be able to enjoy the discounts. If your listings are eligible for multiple discounts at the same time, the higher discount will apply.

Are there other benefits to joining Verified Listing early?

We are organising in-person onboarding sessions to help you verify your listings. The first 500 agents to enrol with us in person will be eligible for a S$50 Sendhelper voucher when you activate the Sendhelper referral program on AgentNet. Refer to T&Cs here.
