When to Focus Your Listings
This month, we noticed that Sunday recorded the highest traffic for the search of property, closely followed by the midweek (Wednesday & Thursday).
Friday and Saturday came immediately after with a mid-level volume, while Monday and Tuesday saw lower search volumes.
In this past festive month of December, property seekers seem to browse like a usual month! The graph below summarises that active time of the day begins at 8am, starts to peak at 10am and maintains across the day. 8pm to 10pm rises to another peak, and it remains consistent until 12am.
It is certainly good to know that our property seekers continue to look out even during the holiday season, but we know with all your appointments and mountains of other to-dos, especially when starting a brand new year, it can be hard to keep up.

Where to Focus Your Listings
Now that we’ve shared the best day of the week and time of the day – let’s dive into the districts we should focus on in the new year!
City & South West (D01-08) and Balestier/ Geylang (D12-14) have been topping the chart as the most popular choices for commercial consumers.
Serangoon/ Thomson (D19-20) continues to have the largest market gap ending the year. Meanwhile we have a new rising star – East Coast (D15-16) with the second largest gap! There are also rising opportunities from all other districts which you can consider next year, as more people are planning on returning to the workplace!
Jumping to residential property demand, Serangoon/ Thomson (D19-20) and City & South West (D01-08) remain the top choice of all time. Similarly, all other districts are gaining interest, which could signal a good start to the market in 2022.
North (D25-28) slightly surpasses West (D22-24) this month in terms of market gap, with Changi/ Pasir Ris (D17-18) and Serangoon/ Thomson (D19-20) following closely behind – our hot favorite district of the year needs supply!
