What is the Report Listing function?
On PropertyGuru websites, we provide option for property seekers to Report a listing that interrupts their browsing experience when searching for a property.
How does the Report Listing function affect me?
When a property seeker chooses to Report a listing, the listing will be hidden from their search results while it remains available to other property seekers.
PropertyGuru will investigate these listing reports received and take actions accordingly; this includes suggesting actions for you to make improvements on your listings.

How can property seekers report my listing?
Report Listing feature is only found on the Listing Detail Page. A pop up will also appear upon clicking on the button, allowing property seekers to seekers to choose from reasons such as discriminatory, fake, duplicate, or no longer available etc. that hinders their search experience.
How will I be notified when a consumer reports my listing?
Assuming your listing has been reported as no longer available, an in-app push notification and email will be sent to you. You can also view the reported listing under the ‘Listings’ tab on AgentNet.
What should I do after receiving a reported listing notification?
Within 2 days of receiving the notification, you must update your listing’s status by selecting 1 of the 3 options under the reported listing on AgentNet ‘Listings’ tab.
Note: If you select ‘Ongoing Offer/Transaction’, an ‘Ongoing Offer’ label will appear on the Listing’s Details page to inform property seekers of its status.
What happens if I have missed the notification?
If you have missed the notification or failed to update your listing’s status within 2 days, your listing will automatically be labelled and reported as no longer available.
In such case, you can return to the ‘Listings’ tab on AgentNet to update the status of the reported listing.
Recommended tip to avoid your listing being reported as no longer available:
If your listing is no longer available, you are encouraged to promptly update your listing’s status to ‘Mark as Sold/Rented’ or ‘Deactivate’ under the ‘Listings’ tab on AgentNet.
What can I do when I have a reported listing from property seekers?
Here’s a list of suggestions to help you better manage the listing feedback from property seekers:
Duplicate, unauthorised, or fake listing | Such listings may be suspended and will not show up in search results, hence you will not be able to receive any enquiries.
Always ensure compliance with PropertyGuru’s Advertisement and Content Guidelines before you publish a listing. |
Discrimination | While your clients may state preferences when entrusting you with their property transaction, it is important that you practise how to be professional and sensitive in your listings.
You can also recommend other properties that better suit the enquirers, this helps you to maintain professional reputation and close more deals! |
Uncontactable agent | We recommend setting up automated reply before you can respond to the enquiries, this can help to manage expectations from property seekers.

No longer available | It is a good practice to update a sold / rented listing upon closing the deal, so it does not create negative impression for property seekers. |
Inaccurate details, price, size, location, or photo | A listing with inaccurate information may be penalised by Council of Estate Agents (CEA).
